AMIGO POS PREREQUISITES

Microsoft .Net Framework 4 (Standalone Installer): Note that Amigo Pos 7.15 and later now requires the full framework (not the client profile) for some features such as web ordering. Reboot the workstation after installation.

OPTIONAL COMPONENTS

Amigo Pos CHM Help File: Installs the latest version of the Windows (chm) help file in the program directory
Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5 SP1: required to install SQL Server Express on Windows XP workstations. This is already installed on Windows 7 workstations.
Microsoft Windows Installer 4.5: required to install SQL Server Express on Windows XP workstations. This is already installed on Windows 7 workstations.

SQL DATABASE

Backup for SQL Server 2012 (with demo data)
Backup for SQL Server 2012 (no demo data - login with user #2)
Backup for SQL Server 2008 R2 (with demo data)
Backup for SQL Server 2008 R2 (no demo data - login with user #2)

Either database can be restored within seconds using the restore procedure, eliminating the need to use the migration utility when starting with a new database. Requires Amigo Pos 7.4 or later.

QUICKBOOKS INTERFACE BETA

Amigo Pos QuickBooks Interface v3.7 Installer (Apr 19, 2012)

This application will run on any version of Windows that supports .Net 4. Install QuickBooks before installing this application. Refer to this help topic for setup and usage.

REMOTE DISPLAY

The remote display application is included in the Amigo Pos (7.15.17 or later) installer

This utility is used to change between KBW & HID (for Magtek USB card readers only)
