Each order type is defined by an extensive list of fields that may be enabled as needed in program setup : main settings, as shown in the image below.

Order Type: The order type name as it appears on the screen button, customer receipt and prep tickets

Button Position: The order type button's screen position relative to other order type buttons

Surcharge Type: Specify whether to use a fixed or discount method when applying an order type surcharge

Surcharge Amount: The amount of the order type surcharge

Surcharge Tax Rate: The tax rate to use when calculating the surcharge

Charge Takeout Containers: Specify whether the price of take out containers should be added to each item as it is entered on the screen ticket

Non Taxable: Specify whether this order type is non-taxable

Mandatory Gratuity: A gratuity is automatically added to this order type

Gratuity Amount: The percentage amount of the mandatory gratuity

Include Tax In Gratuity Calculation: Specify whether to include tax in the mandatory gratuity calculation

Exclude Discount From Mandatory Gratuity: Sepcify whether to exclude discounts from the mandatory gratuity calculation

Minimum Guests For Gratuity: The minimum guests required before a mandatory gratuity is added

Print Suggested Gratuities: Specify whether to print suggested gratuities at the bottom of the customer receipt

Print Large Ticket At Bottom: Specify whether to print a large 3 digit order number at the bottom of the customer receipt

Print Ticket Item Count: Specify whether to print the total number of ticket items at the bottom of the customer receipt

Print Labels: Print labels for each ticket item

Show Rooms: Show the table selection screen when this order type is selected

Show Guest Select: Assign menu items to individual guests

Default Menu: The default menu type for this order type (restaurant, bar, pizza or retail)

Show Customer Info: Prompt the user to enter the customer's phone number

Show Delivery Zones: USe delivery zones to calculate the delivery charge

Stay On Order Entry Screen: Stay on the order entry screen after the order is submitted

Auto Print Receipt: Print a customer receipt after the order is submitted

Loyalty Card Prompt: Prompt the server to sqipe the customer's loyalty card before the order is started (the loyalty card module will be available in the 3rd quarter of 2008)
