Amigo Pos includes a comprehensive list of features that are ideally suited for bar and nightclub environments, including preauthorized bar tabs with limits. The order entry screen remains open after each ticket is tendered to speed orders. Refer to the common order type settings article for a list of customizable features, such as auto receipt printing and default menu to invoke when the order type is selected. 

The CASH, CREDIT and SETTLE buttons at the bottom left of the order entry screen are used to tender the ticket immediately so that the active screen ticket is cleared and the next order can be started. The tender CASH button can be further enhanced by bypassing the ticket settlement screen so that the screen ticket is cleared and the cash drawer opens immediately and Amigo Point Of Sale is ready for the next order.

Through the use of the favorites button, bartenders can select from a few drink presets, each of which can replace an entire category of drinks, allowing for extremely fast order entry in a fast paced environments. Users of terminals where servers enter food orders use the normal bar menu so that prep tickets are generated at the bar for drink orders. With the use of the Remote Video Display application, bar owners may choose to install an inexpensive UMPC at the bar to act as a remote display, elminating the need for prep tickets.

In the default database configuration, the bar order method is configured to bypass the table selection screen by default. Refer to the order types configuration section in the help manual to enable this feature.
