Credit Card Processing

Amigo Pos includes the ability to interface seamlessly with PCCharge Payment Server to process credit card transactions in as little as a few seconds using your existing internet connection or phone line. PCCharge Payment Server is a third party program that is generally provided by your merchant account provider at reduced or no cost and allows you to keep your existing credit card processor or to shop around for the best rates.

Unlike many other POS applications, Amigo Point Of Sale does not force you to use a specific payment processor and does not maintain a relationship with or receive residuals from any payment processing company.

Alternately, you may choose to keep using your existing external credit card processing terminal. In that case, Amigo Point Of Sale will prompt the user to enter the gratuity amount when the ticket is settled, if applicable.

Q: Where do I obtain PCCharge Payment Server?

A: Many merchant account providers such as PPI provide and install PCCharge Payment Server free or at very low cost. If you wish to purchase and install PCCharge Payment Server, Google provides many sources. Click here to learn more.

PCCharge Payment Server

PCCharge Payment Server is developed and supported by Verifone Inc. PCCharge is installed on one terminal or back office pc only; other terminals communicate with PCCharge over the network. PCCharge must be obtained separately from Amigo Point Of Sale.
